What type of person would this....

I have been in a "intimate" relationship..talked about feelings etc. Then she goes to meet someone as a friend..I knew about it..had no probs with it..
Next thing I know she told me that this other girl "hit" on her and she did tell this person that she was involved with me but the other girl virtually said..well "F**K her" and they slept together..The one I was seeing did tell me ..I was devastated and she knew she did the wrong thing..next thing I know Im meeting both of them. The one she had met had no respect for me at that meeting but then turns around,rings me and says I wanna talk..and *** knows about it..
Well..*** didnt know about it but continued to support her and I ended up the bad person in the whole situation.
Ive gotten past it all but I just want to get others' opinion on it..

It all sounds very messy and sadly reminiscent of a schoolyard drama.

Perhaps you can see yourself as having had a lucky escape before things had progressed even further with your gf.

Don't worry about being seen as the 'bad guy', a) it'll blow over and b) only a select few will see it that way (for whatever reason), not the whole world.

Chin up, be cheerful (or fake it till you make it) and before you know it there will be good things happening in your life.

One that needs to be forgotten about as soon as possible. Let it go, get on with the next stage of your life and know that you're not the only person out there to go through this scenario.

I'm unable to even tolerate friends who do this type of thing to others. Having experienced this behaviour, while in a so called monogamous relationship. I was lucky enough to be told by several sources that the person had a reputation for such behaviour and so not to take it so personally.

Maybe one day she will meet a significant other who has no moral values, start a serious relationship and there will be a realisation of what it means to be deceived. Who knows! But in the mean time... let the anger go as it is of no use to you. Move on and do it with your values and integrity intact.

I once read or heard this, Budda once said "Holding on to anger is like holding on to a hot coal to throw at someone, your the one that gets burned."

Regardless, what was done was abboreant and your side shows one side, before I take sides I would want to hear their side.  But for you, given your side, take a deep breath, and forget about her and move on.

As for the moving on and the faking it, I was once told "Be confident and others will see you as the beautiful woman you are, and if you can't be fake it, and in time it will become real."  Or words to that affect.  So now I pass it on to you, if you can't be confident and shrug it off and move on, pretend/fake it and soon enough it will be true.

Sounds to me like you dodged a bullet, there...

I know you probably had feelings for her & that it hurts to find out that hers weren't yours, but-

as others have said, move on & try not to let their bad behaviour colour yours. Looks like it's your role to take the high road.

Thankyou all....Like I said I have gotten past it all. I dont have any feelings for her anymore..but I guess in a way I would like a sincere apology..now that I have just typed that and really thought about it..it wouldnt happen..If it did it would be so false or end up in a big s**t fight..
Aargh what am I thinking..lol
